The 23-year-old was strolling down Quinns Rock yesterday afternoon when a person appeared from the bushes and tried to lure her in.

At 4:45 p.m. she fought him off by bruising the alleged assault close to the doorway to Quinns Canine Seashore, off Waterland Level.

Joondalup detectives say the person in his 30s later escaped.

He’s described as fair-skinned, of medium construct and clean-shaven.

He was sporting a purple flannel shirt and a black baseball cap.
