Maine State Library seeks ex-French-American newspapers for digitization project

The Maine State Library strives to gather and protect newspapers revealed for the French-American neighborhood in Maine.

Adam Fisher, director of collections improvement and digital initiatives, stated the library is about to launch its fourth spherical of a nationally funded effort to digitize outdated Maine newspapers.

This time round, Fisher says, they’re specializing in underrepresented populations just like the French-People in Maine.
